Welcome to the Deans Festival website!

 

This next Deans Festival is on Saturday 12th May 2012, 11am to 4pm. A great event for all the family to enjoy.  

 

Join us to for a day of attractions, competitions, entertainment and refreshments including:

 

Climbing wall, penalty shoot-out and sports galore!

The Sussex Raptor Club with their beautiful owls

Live music, workshops and displays

Craft area, children's entertainer and face painting

Traditional stalls such as hook-a-duck and tombola

Barbecue, Fair Trade café, sweets and cakes

Licensed drinks tent - wine, beer and soft drinks

Top prizes in the Festival raffle      

 

  

The Deans Festival is a community funday providing entertainment for all ages and open to anyone wanting to join the fun. The event is organised by local volunteers (from the villages of Rottingdean, Ovingdean and Woodingdean) and supported by the schools of Downs View, Our Lady of Lourdes, Rudyard Kipling, St Margarets and Woodingdean Primary School.

Happy New Year from all at the Deans Festival - now only four months until the 2012 funday!

Part of Brighton Fringe, the Deans May Festival combines elements of traditional fêtes and modern fundays for a good day out for all the family.
